After the keynote lecture, there are total of 16 presentations and QA sessions consisting of four different tracks and four different sessions. The topic of the Track 1 was ‘My own smart education’ and the track included presentations like ‘creative activty, chromakey, smart education of children in mountainous area,’ ‘humanities and smart education,’ ‘research and development of digital textbook’ and others. The topic of the Track 2 was ‘utilization of SNS within the smart education field,’ and the track included presentations like ‘classting (클래스팅),’ ‘wedorang (위두랑),’ and ‘Class123 (클래스123)’ and others. Especially, the presentation given out by elementary school students on the ‘production of UCC on safety sign panels’ was highly impressive.
Track 3 was conducted with the topic of ‘SW education, flipped learning, and visual thinking,’ and Track 4 was conducted with the topic of ‘future education.’ Especially, the collaborative lecture done by a teacher named Man Choi and the CEO of Eco-Schools named Dong-Yeon Lee was impressive among other lectures. The case explicitly expressed the collaboration between a teacher and the industry related with the smart education. Furthermore, the CEO of THE EDUCLOUD named Sung-Hoon, Cho has introduced an online service for the cases (lectures) utilizing cloud services in and outside Korea, and it was impressive for a platform preparing a cloud computing society.
The whole word is mad about education utilizing computing. The United States of America is implementing coding education all over its territory with the lead of the president, and the broadcasting stations are leading the coding education in the United Kingdom. In fact, smart education is being utilized in various sectors in the word in various other names too. We expect such craze over the smart education would sweep the territory of the Republic of Korea through this winter smart education festival.
